In his sermon at the closing mass, Padre Roger told the story of the man who was working at home, particularly downstairs, and lost his heirloom pocketwatch. He frantically searched all over the house, upstairs and down, looking for this prized timepiece, but with no success. His son cam home from school and, told what had happened, went downstairs and in a few minutes came back up with the watch. Of course, his father wanted to know how he knew where to find it.
"I went downstairs and was very quiet, and pretty soon I heard
tick. tick. tick..."
Santa Silencia. Sometimes we need the silence to locate God.
